CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the ongoing development works and law and order in the district with public representatives and officials during his visit to Ghazipur district today. He directed the officers that the problems of the people should be solved with sensitivity and seriousness and the cases should be settled on the basis of merit. He asked them to ensure that no revenue related disputes are unnecessarily pending and no injustice is done to the poor.
He appreciated the special products of the district under the ‘One Janpad One Product’ scheme and said that these products prepared by women self-help groups should be taken to the market. Also, after talking to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, it should be ensured that the entire house is ready with the financial assistance they get. He also said that all eligible and needy people should get the benefit of pension schemes and continuous supply of pure drinking water should be ensured in rural areas under Jal Jeevan Mission. Avoid unnecessary road cutting during pipeline laying.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the amount has been transferred through DBT to the accounts of parents of children studying in government schools for the purchase of uniforms and bags etc. All teachers should ensure that children get uniforms and necessary materials and the number of children dropping out of school should be zero.
Talking about power supply, he said that power supply should be ensured as per roster and transformers should be changed in urban and rural areas in a time-bound manner. Toll free number 1912 should be actively promoted for redressal of power related grievances.
CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the Nursing College being constructed in the premises of Maharishi Vishwamitra Autonomous State Medical College and directed to complete all the construction works on time and with quality. He asked to work on war footing to make Ghazipur TB free by December 2025 under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. He also urged the public representatives, officials, teachers etc. to adopt one TB patient each and give them nutritional supplements.
CM Yogi Adityanath called upon all the public representatives to take active part in the plantation drive under the ‘Ek Tree Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in the coming month of July.
Speaking on the police system, he directed that action should be taken against land mafia, mining mafia, forest mafia and other criminals under strict and zero tolerance policy. A list of top criminals of the district should be made and effective steps should be taken against them. Regular monitoring of FIRs and investigations should be done by senior police officers. Effective prosecution of women crimes, POCSO cases should be done so that criminals are punished and the fear of the law remains. Instructions were given to take strict action on cattle smuggling and quick action in cases of conversions. He also appealed to the people to carry forward the Mission Shakti campaign in an effective manner and celebrate the upcoming festivals like Muharram, Kanwar Yatra with traditional peace.
Minister of Jal Shakti Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of Panchayati Raj and Minority Welfare Om Prakash Rajbhar, Minister of State Ravindra Jaiswal and other senior public representatives and administrative officials were also present on the occasion.
