CM Yogi Adityanath said that in the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world has seen the rise of a new India. This India is no longer just a follower, but a leader of the world and a symbol of energy and strength. India is growing rapidly and has now become the fifth largest economy in the world. In the next two years, India is on its way to becoming the third largest economy, in which entrepreneurs will play an important role.
Loans worth Rs 100 crore were distributed to 2,500 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan and toolkits to 2,100 trainees under the ‘One Janpad, One Product’ scheme at a programme held in Gorakhpur. He said that by giving right opportunities and guidance to the youth, they can become self-reliant. With this objective, the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan was launched on January 24, 2025.
In just 45 days, more than 2.54 lakh applications have been received for this scheme, while one lakh applications have been sent to banks. So far, loans worth Rs 931 crore have been sanctioned to 24,000 beneficiaries and loans worth Rs 410 crore have been disbursed to 10,500 beneficiaries.
In Gorakhpur and Basti divisions, loans worth Rs. 67.14 crore have been sanctioned to 1,440 beneficiaries, while Rs. 25.80 crore has already been disbursed to 575 beneficiaries. Under this campaign, a target has been set to create 10 lakh new young entrepreneurs, which will give impetus to economic activities in the state and the youth will become self-reliant.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that 96 lakh MSME units are working in the state, which are providing employment to more than 3 crore youth. The state has now entered a new era of prosperity and happiness, where exports are increasing and local products are making a mark at the global level. He gave a message to the youth to move ahead with patience and resolve and said that the government is committed to extend all possible support.
