Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that the holy land of Chitrakoot is the karmasthali of revered Nanaji Deshmukh and the holy birthplace of Pujyapad Goswami Tulsidas ji Maharaj. The glory of Chitrakoot is described in our Vedas, Puranas and scriptures. Chitrakoot has moved ahead with a rich heritage. Inspired by Maharishi Bharadwaj and Maharishi Valmiki, Lord Shri Ram spent most of his time in Chitrakoot during his 14 years of exile with Mata Janaki and Bhai Lakshman.
2 The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion after unveiling the statue of Pujyapad Goswami Tulsidas ji at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ganiwan in Chitrakoot district today. He planted a sapling of Harishankari and visited the exhibition put up by the Agriculture Department. The Chief Minister visited the Parmanand Ashram Method School located in the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and gave chocolates to the students and enquired about their well-being.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that today is the holy birth anniversary of Pujyapad Tulsidas ji Maharaj.
On this occasion, I have got the opportunity to see the public welfare works being done through the Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Ganivan at this work place of revered Nanaji and to dedicate the grand and divine statue of revered Sant Tulsidas Ji Maharaj.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked him to visit Bundelkhand after becoming the Chief Minister. He had asked to move forward in the direction of solving the problems of Bundelkhand. Our scriptures have beautifully described the Kol, Bhil, Nishad and other tribes as the basis of the social system of India at that time. The double engine government had decided that all the forest-dwelling tribes, including Kol, Bhil, would reach the goal of saturation by providing them the benefit of all kinds of facilities of governance. Work is constantly going on in this direction. This is our gratitude for the service rendered to Lord Shri Ram by the servants of Lord Shri Ram. These efforts are yielding good results.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that he has come to Lalapur many times. He had a desire to come to Rajapur and do something for this place. The river Yamuna flows through here. Yamuna ji has been very kind in the life of Tulsidas ji. Even today it is a lifeline for the entire region. A bridge will be built here. Good work has been done through the Krishi Vigyan Kendra here. Wheat, maize and barley have been sown. Income of farmers has been increased.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country has made new progress in every sphere of life. Before 2014, farmers did not know about soil health cards. The Prime Minister launched the Soil Health Card Scheme. From the point of view of the health of the mother earth which fills our stomach, extensive efforts were started through this scheme. This has brought a big change in the lives of farmers.
Along with this, Krishi Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana were implemented.
In Bundelkhand also, many irrigation schemes were taken forward. As a result, water availability has increased. Farmers were able to harvest three crops from their fields. He explained to the farmers how to cultivate crops in a scientific way. This increased the income of the farmers. Destitute cow shelters were made for the protection of destitute cows.
The Chief Minister said that earlier the connectivity of Bundelkhand was not good. Today it is connected to the capital Delhi through the Bundelkhand Expressway. Shri Ram Van Gaman Path is being built here. Great changes have taken place in Chitrakoot, the center of devotion. Now Chitrakoot has become worth seeing. This should have been done earlier. A bridge has been built here.
Work is being done to make Kamadgiri Parikrama more sacred. Sanitation programmes are being taken forward through the campaign. Work is also being done in the direction of the purity and inviolability of the holy Mandakini river. The ashrams located there are being renovated.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that this year there is a situation of excessive rainfall at some places and drought at some places in Bundelkhand. Farmers who have not yet registered under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Bima Yojana should get themselves registered by August 15. This will benefit them in case of crop loss. There has been good crop of groundnut and moong in Bundelkhand this year. We have also set up procurement centres for this.
The Chief Minister said that Bundelkhand is currently moving on a new path of prosperity. A defence corridor is being built here. When Lord Shri Ram left for Dandakaranya from here, he had resolved to make this land devoid of demons.
The defence corridor of Chitrakoot is being prepared with this vision. The work of settling India’s enemies 4 will be done through our corridor being built in Bundelkhand. The youth power here will stand as a strong wall for the security of the country by joining this campaign.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that from the point of view of connectivity, we have received proposals for construction of roads here. Wherever there is no connectivity, we are constructing roads of 5, 7 or 10 metres according to the availability of land. A bypass is being built. 2 lane roads are being constructed in congested or industrial areas. Development is being done while preserving the heritage. The revered saints are also being respected.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that development works have been done in Lalapur and Rajapur. More work will be done in the coming days. Extensive work is also going to be done in Rajapur at the level of revered Sant Morari Bapu. The Prime Minister has set a target to make India the world’s biggest power by 2047. For this, we have to realize the vision of self-reliant India. This will happen when our villages and towns will be self-reliant.
The Chief Minister said that you have seen the changing Chitrakoot. Eight years ago, people were afraid to come here. There wasn’t much to do here. Today there is no fear and panic, but an atmosphere of security. People are eager to move forward. People of the country and the world are coming to Chitrakoot. People were curious to know about Chitrakoot, Lalapur, Rajapur and Sati Anusuya ‘s Ashram and Kamadgiri Parikrama.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that this year when the Mahakumbh was held in Prayagraj, the entire country also saw the glory of Chitrakoot. Hundreds of buses ply on this road daily. The people of Chitrakoot and every village and town falling between Chitrakoot and Prayagraj presented a wonderful example of hospitality. Similarly, during the period of exile, Kol, Bhil and Nishad communities must have honoured Lord Shri Ram. This is the land of inspiration.
The Chief Minister said that in 1990, revered Nanaji Deshmukh had come here to lay the foundation of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra. He developed it as a new place of inspiration by the accomplishment obtained from his sadhana. Nanaji Deshmukh’s approach was pragmatic. He used to solve 5 local issues with this. On this land of Chitrakoot, revered Nanaji had established Gramodaya University.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that every person lives for himself, but those who live for the deprived sections of the society are rare. Those who had helped Lord Shri Ram during his exile, if we ignore them today, we will never get the blessings of Lord Shri Ram. We will get the blessings of Lord Shri Ram only when we have affection and respect for him and make efforts for his upliftment. The Parmanand Ashram Method School is providing inspiration for the same here. It is currently operational up to Class 05, which is planned to be further extended up to Class 10. The social welfare department of the state government will fully cooperate in this. This work will be taken forward through Deen Dayal Research Institute.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that we have to work unitedly for ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat “and’ Vikas Bharat” while being wary of people who divide in the name of caste, region, language. This is the basis of our national unity.
