CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the development works in Bareilly district today with public representatives and officials. The Chief Minister directed to expedite the Nath Corridor project. He said that all the works required to improve inter-state connectivity in Bareilly division should be included in the first phase action plan based on the recommendation of public representatives. The works related to the Public Works Department should be expedited. “There will be no compromise on the quality of construction. Everyone should be held accountable.
CM Yogi said that the officials must consult the people’s representatives before proposing any project and make their experiences and regional inputs the basis of policy making. Our goal should not be only to make plans. Ensuring their timely and effective implementation at the ground level should be the first priority. The intention of the government is to take every scheme to concrete results. Use technology effectively.
He directed the Urban Development Department to mandatorily take the guidance of local public representatives before preparing any project proposal.
CM Yogi said that the people’s representatives should give top priority to public utility works. He should constantly monitor the proposed works in his area and play an active role in shaping the plans in tune with the local public sentiments.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised of the development works proposed by the people’s representatives. These include block headquarters roads, other roads, approach roads to religious places, road safety measures, bypasses, underpasses, ROBs, flyovers, bridges, minor bridges, various works related to irrigation. These works will address the geographical challenges of the region and give a boost to the local economy.
The meeting approved the construction of a modern satellite flyover at Weishap and the conversion of the Pilibhit bypass into a 4-lane one. This will make the travel smooth and accident-free. Subhashnagar underpass was included in priority. This will facilitate connectivity between the eastern and western parts of the city. Construction of a new road from Harungala to Nagdevta Temple behind Pawan Vihar Colony was approved. This route will boost religious tourism as well as improve rural connectivity.
The Finance Minister, Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna, the Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development, Shri Dharampal Singh, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment and Forests, Shri Arun Kumar Saxena, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperation, Shri J.P.S. Rathore, the Minister of State for Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Development, Shri Sanjay Singh Gangwar and other public representatives and senior officers of the Government and administration were present on the occasion.
