After this, he flagged off the participating team from the state. He said that 12th January is known as a day of celebration for the youth across the country. On this date, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, who gave India a spiritual and cultural identity on the global stage, is celebrated as National Youth Day. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, National Youth Festival is organized every year on this occasion for the past many years, which includes a long series of programs. By participating in these programs, the youth get an opportunity to know and learn a lot about the country.

This team of 63 youth will participate in various types of events On this occasion, various cultural and skill development related programs will be organized. Expressing confidence, he said that the participating youth of the state will leave an indelible mark on the state and will showcase cultural programs from various regions of the state, Through the ‘One District, One Product Scheme’, we will be able to present the ancient art forms of the state. These art forms are examples of skill development.
The Chief Minister said that skill development should not be measured only on the current scale. Through skill development, Moradabad brass, Aligarh hardware, Firozabad glass, Lucknow chikankari, Meerut sports goods,Saharanpur must have become an important centre for wooden work, Bhadohi for carpets and Varanasi for silk textiles. All these centres are symbols of ancient heritage. The government is encouraging them through the ‘One District, One Product Scheme’. This is also a medium of skill development. Work is being done to promote these methods of skill development as a legacy.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister had set some goals in the Amrit Mahotsav year of the country’s independence. Developed India was an important goal among these. The energy of the youth will be useful for a developed India. The youth will make a significant contribution. You are young today, when this country will be celebrating the centenary year of its independence, At that time you will be working in different areas of life to make India developed. What kind of India do we want at that time? What are the important aspects in the action plan being prepared for building a developed India?, Which we can take forward. What role can the youth play in building a developed India. These questions should be considered.
The Chief Minister said that it is very important for the youth to have the art of communication to discharge their public life efficiently. Only a person who has the skill of communication can be a successful politician. If he is not adept in the art of communication,Then he can never become a successful politician. All of you must have got the opportunity to join the Youth Parliament. We should encourage Youth Parliament in universities and colleges instead of traditional student union elections so that the new generation can be taken forward. What qualities should be there for leadership and what should be our duties towards society and nation. This is also a question worth considering. While playing the role of politician, administrative officer, farmer and entrepreneur, the feeling of nationalism should be instilled in the youth. There should be attachment towards the motherland and compassion towards the people. Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare (Independent Charge) Shri Girish Chandra Yadav also addressed the programme. On this occasion, Mayor of Lucknow Smt.
