The Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah chaired a National Workshop of Cooperation Ministers and Secretaries of Cooperation Departments of all States at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi today. Minister Kedar Kashyap, Minister of Cooperation and Dr. C.R. Prasanna, Secretary Cooperation from Chhattisgarh participated in the workshop.
With the cooperation of the Government of India, the schemes and programmes of Samriddhi have been implemented in the Pax Societies, Dairy and Forest Produce Societies of all the States. All the PACS are being developed as Common Service Centres.
Presenting the progress report of Sahakar se Samriddhi in Chhattisgarh in this national workshop, the Cooperation Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Kedar Kashyap said that after the meeting of Union Minister Shri Amit Shah on 25th August 2025 in Chhattisgarh, 750 new Fish, Milk and Forest Produce Committees have been formed. Also, formation of 532 new PACS is under process. One lakh new accounts have been opened in cooperative banks. One lakh KCC cards were issued. An action plan has been prepared to distribute cows to tribal families in 6 districts of Chhattisgarh. A sum of Rs. 7500 crore has been disbursed as short term agricultural credit to farmers. A sum of Rs 145 crore was paid to the farmers selling paddy through micro ATMs by 2058 Pax Society. In Chhattisgarh, 2028 Pax Societies have been computerised and digitised.
