Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : The Cricket South Africa Awards were recently held to celebrate the standout performers in both men’s and women’s cricket for the 2024–25 season. Keshav Maharaj and Nonkululeko Mlaba took the top honours, being named the Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year, respectively.
Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : These awards covered performances up to the 2024 T20 World Cup—where both South Africa’s men’s and women’s teams reached the finals—as well as the 2025 Champions Trophy. However, achievements in the World Test Championship final will be included in next year’s awards.
Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : Although Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram delivered stellar performances in that WTC final against Australia, only Bavuma picked up an award this time. He was named Test Player of the Year for his strong contributions against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, helping South Africa reach the WTC final.
Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : Keshav Maharaj stood out with 40 wickets in seven Test matches between August 2024 and January 2025 and also ended as South Africa’s third-highest wicket-taker in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : Other key winners included Heinrich Klaasen, who was named ODI Player of the Year, and Anrich Nortje, who took home the T20 Player of the Year award. Ottneil Baartman was recognised as the Newcomer of the Year.
Cricket South Africa Annual Awards : In the women’s category, Annerie Dercksen was named ODI Player of the Year, while Ayanda Hlubi earned the Women’s Newcomer of the Year award. In the coaching department, Russell Domingo was honoured as Division One Coach of the Year, and Ahmed Amla received the same recognition in his respective category.
