The National Testing Agency (NTA) has addressed concerns regarding the CUET UG 2026 city slip, acknowledging that a small percentage of students were assigned distant centers. While 96.6% of candidates received their preferred locations, a 3.4% gap remains due to high demand and limited CBT centre availability. To resolve this, a dedicated CUET centre reallocation window has been launched.
Key Points of the NTA Update:
Allotment Statistics: Approximately 15.14 lakh out of 15.68 lakh candidates were allotted one of their top choice cities.
Reason for Discrepancy: The 3.4% gap is primarily attributed to a massive concentration of applicants in states like Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Admit Card Updates: Students who successfully change their center will be issued a revised CUET admit card shortly after the window closes.
