Daikin and Kubota announce over ₹3,000 crore investment in Haryana during CM Nayab Singh Saini’s Japan visit. New R&D and manufacturing units to boost jobs, innovation, and industrial growth in the state.

In a major development aimed at accelerating industrial growth and foreign investment in Haryana, Japanese giants Daikin Industries Ltd. and Kubota Corporation have announced significant investments in the state. The announcements were made during an official visit by a high-level Haryana government delegation to Japan, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Daikin to Set Up ₹1,000 Crore R&D Center in Haryana

Haryana signed a key Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daikin Industries Ltd., a global leader in air conditioning and refrigeration solutions. The MoU was signed in Osaka, Japan, in the presence of CM Nayab Singh Saini.

Under this agreement, Daikin will invest ₹1,000 crore to establish a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) center in Haryana. The R&D hub will focus on innovation, cutting-edge technologies, and sustainable industrial solutions.

This strategic move is expected to:

• Boost Haryana’s status as a global innovation hub

• Create thousands of employment opportunities for youth

• Foster advanced skill development and technical training

The MoU was signed by Dr. Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Haryana, and Shogo Endo, Deputy Managing Director, Daikin Industries Ltd.

Kubota to Invest ₹2,000 Crore in Agricultural Manufacturing in Haryana

The Haryana delegation also visited Kubota’s tractor manufacturing plant in Osaka. Kubota Corporation, a global leader in agricultural machinery, announced a ₹2,000 crore investment in Haryana in collaboration with Escorts Limited.

This partnership will focus on:

• Establishing advanced agricultural equipment manufacturing facilities

• Driving innovation in agri-tech and farm mechanization

• Generating numerous employment opportunities for local youth

• Strengthening Haryana’s agricultural economy

CM Nayab Singh Saini invited Kubota to set up its manufacturing unit in Haryana, emphasizing the state’s rich agricultural legacy and robust industrial infrastructure.
