CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that with the blessings of Baba Mahakal, prosperity is flourishing in the state and the nation. The first Regional Industry Conclave was successfully organized in the glorious city of Samrat Vikramaditya, Ujjain. Following this, seven more Regional Industry Conclaves were successfully conducted at divisional headquarters, leading to the establishment of new industrial units in the state by transforming investment proposals into reality.
To realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India,’ foundation stones were laid with Bhoomi-Pujan, and inaugurations were conducted for 26 industrial projects worth Rs. 1,127.24 crores, writing a new chapter in development. These projects will provide Ujjain with a new industrial dimension, fostering economic growth and industrial expansion. The projects are expected to generate employment for approximately 5,046 youths.
In line with the vision of a ‘Clean India,’ an advanced Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) worth Rs. 28 crores was inaugurated in Vikram Udyogpuri, India’s cleanest industrial park. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these announcements while addressing an industrial inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony at the Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain on Tuesday.
Commitment to Industrialization and Business Growth
CM Mohan Yadavreiterated that business thrives on trust, and commitment is paramount in trade. The Madhya Pradesh government remains fully dedicated to fulfilling its promises to promote industrialization and trade. He also disbursed an investment promotion incentive of Rs. 441 crores to 73 industrial units via a single-click mechanism.
Underlining the state’s progress, he announced that the year 2025 has been declared the ‘Year of Industry and Employment.’ The dream of accelerating the state’s economy is now becoming a reality. A comprehensive plan is underway to develop a new metropolitan city comprising the Ujjain, Indore, Dewas, Dhar, and Shajapur districts. Similarly, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Raisen, and Vidisha will be developed into a metropolitan region, while Jabalpur, Gwalior, and their surrounding districts will also be developed as future metropolitan cities. These initiatives will boost trade and investment.
Upcoming Grand Events and Economic Growth
CM Mohan Yadav announced that ‘Vikramotsav-2025’ will be organized in Ujjain, and the Vikram Trade Fair is witnessing significant business activities, including high vehicle sales. Additionally, the grand Simhastha-2028 festival will be hosted, which will provide an economic boost and establish Ujjain as a major global religious tourism hub.
A budget of Rs. 4.21 lakh crores has been presented this year, with over Rs. 2,000 crores allocated for Simhastha to develop infrastructure. Special provisions have been made in the budget for the welfare of Ladli Behna, a flagship scheme of the state. Furthermore, Amul has established a milk processing plant in Ujjain, and Sanchi Dairy will be developed on Amul’s model to make it a state identity. Since the inauguration of Shri Mahakal Mahalok by Prime Minister Modi, religious tourism has surged, with over 60 crore tourists visiting Ujjain since 2022, significantly boosting the hospitality sector.
Success of Global Investors Summit 2025
CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the successful organization of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal on February 24-25 under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. During the summit, 18 new industrial policies were introduced, and over 70 one-on-one meetings were held with top industrialists. The state received investment proposals worth Rs. 26.61 lakh crores, which are expected to generate employment for over 17 lakh individuals. To implement these proposals, 19 new industrial units have been allocated 315 hectares of land in the past month. The state has already secured Rs. 9,168 crores in investments, creating jobs for over 13,000 youths. Dr. Yadav expressed pride that Madhya Pradesh is now recognized as a leading industrial state. The government is focusing on holistic development, ensuring the welfare of farmers, youth, and women.
In Chambal, industrial development is replacing the sound of gunfire with the hum of industrial machines. A medical college is being established in Jhabua, and Vikram University will introduce the state’s first Dairy Technology course to boost milk production.
Strengthening Global Investment Prospects
Madhya Pradesh was presented as a prime investment hub during official visits to the UK, Germany, and Japan. Encouraging responses from global investors affirm that the state has become a major destination for investments. Following the Global Investors Summit, several investment proposals have begun materializing, with the foundation stone recently laid for an industrial unit in Bhind, and now, 26 new industrial units are being launched in Ujjain. The state continues to attract investments, generate employment, and script a new chapter of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Madhya Pradesh is poised to achieve new heights in technology, innovation, and industrial growth, contributing significantly to the vision of a self-reliant and developed India.
Inauguration and Bhoomi-Pujan of 26 Industrial Units
CM Mohan Yadav announced the launch of industrial projects worth over Rs. 1,127 crores, creating over 5,046 job opportunities. M/s Iskon Balaji Unit: Inaugurated with an investment of Rs. 122 crores, it will process 400 tons of potatoes daily to produce flakes, benefiting thousands of farmers in the Malwa region. M/s Relsus Private Limited, A Rs. 97 crore investment to manufacture plant-based protein from chickpeas, peas, and mustard oil cake, employing over 120 individuals. M/s A.M. Wood Toys Private Limited, A Rs. 26 crore toy manufacturing unit that will generate over 100 jobs. M/s Shripati Molecules Private Limited, A Rs. 50 crore investment in pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals, provides technical training to local youth. M/s Candytoy Corporate Private Limited, A Rs. 30 crore investment in promotional toy manufacturing, employs over 100 individuals. M/s Signify RBT Conception Private Limited, A Rs. 100 crore AI-based wooden furniture unit in Vikram Udyogpuri, offers over 250 jobs and training for artisans. M/s Alisha Foods Private Limited, A Rs. 25 crore food processing unit, employs over 500 individuals and sources raw materials from local farmers. M/s Bansi Surgical Solutions: A Rs. 1.47 crore unit manufacturing ENT medical equipment, exporting products globally, and providing 27 direct jobs.
Additionally, investments of Rs. 11 crores in the Tajpur Industrial Area and Rs. 10.17 crores in the Medical Device Park will establish new industrial units, creating 190 job opportunities.
Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives
The event was inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and girl-worship ritual. HDFC Bank’s zonal officer announced a CSR initiative to establish smart classrooms in 20 government schools with a Rs. 1 crore investment. The Senior Vice President of Liugong India Private Limited, Shri Huang Chong, presented a Liugong-926E excavator worth Rs. 95 lakhs to support Simhastha-2028 and Maa Kshipra’s conservation efforts.
