Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini recently announced that under the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, nearly 10 lakh women are receiving monthly financial assistance of ₹2,100. The scheme aims to empower women economically and improve the living standards of families across the state.
₹834 Crore Already Distributed
According to CM Nayab Singh Saini, a total of ₹834 crore has already been distributed to beneficiaries under the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. He emphasized that the scheme is making women financially independent while supporting their families’ basic needs and enhancing overall social welfare.
Expanded Budget and Eligibility
For the current fiscal year, the government has allocated a total budget of ₹6,500 crore for the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. The eligibility criteria have been expanded to cover families with an annual income of up to ₹1.8 lakh, ensuring that the benefits reach more women across the state. The Chief Minister stated that the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure smooth implementation and wider outreach of the scheme.
