The Delhi government organized the logo design competition via the MyGov.in portal, with the last date for submissions set as September 26. The competition attracted creative entries from all over India, showcasing diverse artistic interpretations of Delhi’s essence.

To assess the entries and finalize the logo, the Chief Minister has constituted an expert committee chaired by the Secretary of the General Administration Department. The panel includes specialists from various universities who will review and shortlist the designs. The Joint Secretary of the General Administration Department will act as the member secretary of this committee.
A Symbol Reflecting Delhi’s Unique Identity
According to CM Rekha Gupta, the selected logo will serve as a new emblem reflecting Delhi’s distinct identity. The government envisions the logo as a representation of Delhi’s modern, transparent, and welfare-oriented governance. It will not only highlight Delhi’s historical and cultural heritage but also emphasize the aspirations of its people.
