Delhi News : Good news for Vande Bharat Express passengers – Rajasthan is all set to get another Vande Bharat train soon.
Delhi News Update : Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal congratulated Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving a new Vande Bharat service from New Delhi to Bikaner.
Meghwal, who represents Bikaner in Parliament, also thanked the Railway Minister for clearing the doubling of the 11.08-km rail line between Bikaner Junction and Lalgarh, which he said would ease the issue of level crossings within the city.
“You have gifted a Vande Bharat train to Bikaner, which is a major milestone. It will help passengers save travel time,” Meghwal said in a video shared by Vaishnaw on social media.
Travel time cut by 1.5 hours
According to railway officials, this new service fulfills a long-pending demand of Rajasthan residents. The 450-km journey will now be around one-and-a-half hours shorter. Once launched, the Delhi–Bikaner Vande Bharat will connect Rajasthan’s Bikaner directly with the national capital in just a few hours.
