On Thursday, the Delhi Police released a traffic warning informing people that while the borders of Ghazipur and DND will remain partially open, the borders of Tikri, Jharoda, and Dhansa will remain entirely blocked.

On Thursday, the national capital’s border areas received a traffic alert from the Delhi Police. According to the advice, picketing and checking would continue to hamper traffic at the Jheel Khurd Border, Mandi Border, Aaya Nagar Border, DND Flyway, Kalindi Kunj, Badarpur, Palla, Surajkund, and Karni Singh shooting range.

Tikri Border: The farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march from Punjab, which disrupted traffic in the nation’s capital, led to an escalation of security measures at all Delhi border posts.

The entire stretch of National Highway-44 past the Singhu border is closed to all traffic, according the advice. In a similar vein, all borders—Tikri, Jharoda, and Dhansa—have been totally blocked to through traffic.

Traffic entering and leaving Haryana has been routed via Zero Palla, Piao Maniyari, Singhu School Toll, Saboli, Safiyabad, and Lampur. Nonetheless, the advisory noted that throughout the day, traffic is still heavy at these border crossings and that cars are only allowed to pass after thorough inspection.

Tikri Border: The public can use both lanes on the NH-9, NH-24 at the Ghazipur border, and DND.

“However, there is slow traffic movement, as such commuters are advised to plan their journey accordingly and avoid these stretches specially during peak hours,” the warning continued.

Tikri Border: The Delhi Police stated in a warning released on Wednesday that it will be testing a technique to prevent regular traffic congestion at the Bagga roundabout for five days, beginning on Thursday.

The Faiz Road will be open for one-way traffic from the Bagga roundabout towards Rani Jhansi Road in accordance with the advise.

During the trial time, traffic on the opposing carriageway will be forbidden and cars heading towards Rani Jhansi Road via the roundabout will be directed onto Faiz Road.
