Delhi: Wednesday afternoon’s moderate to light showers in Delhi brought the 24-hour total rainfall to 9.2 mm at Safdarjung until 8:30am, 17.4 mm at Palam, and 40.8 mm at Ayanagar.

Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that light to moderate rainfall is likely later in the day after light rainfall was observed in some areas of Delhi on Thursday.

Safdarjung, which is a good representation of Delhi’s weather, saw 0.2 mm of rain between 2:30 and 8:30 on Thursday; Palam saw 3.3 mm, Lodhi Road saw 0.4 mm, Ridge saw 1.4 mm, and Ayanagar saw 1 mm, according to IMD statistics.

Wednesday afternoon’s moderate to light showers in Delhi brought the 24-hour total rainfall to 9.2 mm at Safdarjung until 8:30am, 17.4 mm at Palam, and 40.8 mm at Ayanagar.

An IMD official stated, “There is a chance of another spell on Thursday, with light to moderate rainfall likely to be recorded at weather stations in Delhi.”

The lowest temperature ever recorded in Delhi was 24.8°C, three degrees below average. A day ago, it was 29°C.

The daytime high is expected to be approximately 33°C. Wednesday was 34.1°C, one day earlier.

Delhi’s air quality fell into the “satisfactory” category.

At nine in the morning on Thursday, the 24-hour average air quality index, or AQI, was 78, or satisfactory. At 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, it was 108 (moderate).
