Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Smashes Day 1 with ₹13 Cr, Overtakes Baaghi 4
Demon Slayer Infinity Castle just pulled off what Bollywood biggies couldn’t. Haruo Sotozaki’s Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle hit Indian theatres on Friday and made a smashing ₹13 crore on Day 1, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. What’s wild is that it managed this with barely a fraction of the shows that a big Bollywood release usually gets.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Box Office Report:
To put things in perspective—Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 opened at ₹12 crore with way more screens. Other Hindi films like Param Sundari (₹7.25 crore) and The Bengal Files (₹1.75 crore) didn’t even come close. Even another anime release, Mirai, wrapped up Day 1 at ₹12 crore. The only movie ahead in the race was The Conjuring: Last Rites, which clocked ₹17.5 crore.
Demon slayer fans had already sensed something big was coming during advance bookings, with some trade experts predicting a ₹15 crore-plus start. While the final numbers landed a little lower, ₹13 crore is still a huge deal—especially for an anime film in India.
