Deputy CM Diya Kumari addressed the session organized on behalf of the Rajasthan Government on the topic ‘Embracing Diversity- Promoting Inclusive Tourism’ in “Rising Rajasthan” (9-10-11 December 2024) which started on Monday at Sitapura JECC campus in Jaipur.On this occasion, Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present as the chief guest.
Deputy CM Diya, while addressing the present investors, guests, travel writers, bloggers and all stakeholders related to tourism sector, mentioned the innovations being made by the state government in the tourism sector.He also called upon everyone and said that everyone will have to work together to make Rajasthan everyone’s favorite tourist destination on the global stage.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari said that tourism is not just a means of business, it is a medium to share our culture and our experiences. Interacting with all the attendees during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment SummitHe said that the aim of Rajasthan government is to promote repeat tourism in the state. He said that all of us should make efforts to ensure that the tourists coming to Rajasthan come here again for tourism, for this we will have to expand tourist facilities by promoting new tourist places.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari said that to promote tourism in the state, the government’s focus will be marketing and promotion, in which new technology will have a significant contribution, Diya Kumari gave the message that events like Rising Rajasthan are not just events, it is a continuous process of moving towards development, which will continue continuously.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for inaugurating Rising Rajasthan, Deputy CM Diya Kumari said that the Rajasthan government is committed to taking tourism to new heights in the state.The topic of today’s sectoral session is also inspired by the thoughts of the Prime Minister in which he had said that tourism should be a medium to connect the country’s economy and society. Our government also has the same objective that every section of the society should get better employment and business opportunities.He said that Rajasthan’s tourism will progress only when we all work together, adopt new ideas and make everyone a part of it. He also thanked Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma for organizing Rising Rajasthan.
There is immense potential for experience tourism in Rajasthan – Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat
As the chief guest in the session, Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that there is immense potential for experiential tourism in Rajasthan and domestic tourists are the foundation of our tourism. Spiritual tourism is also associated with experiential tourism in Rajasthan. Our efforts should also be on domestic tourists. Jaipur Union Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Describing this time as the adequate time to organize Rising Rajasthan, he mentioned the immense possibilities of tourism in Rajasthan.
As special speakers in the tourism session, poet and actor Shailesh Lodha, actor Nakul Mehta, tourism experts Anjali Bharathari Ravi and Neha Arora said in unison that the kind of diversity seen in Rajasthan is not seen in any other state of the country and abroad. I don’t get it.

In the special session based on tourism in Rising Rajasthan, Tourism Secretary Shri Ravi Jain gave a special presentation in which detailed information was given about the immense investment possibilities along with complete information about Rajasthan tourism. Earlier, the Union Tourism Minister was welcomed by the Tourism Secretary and Deputy CM Diya Kumari was welcomed by the Tourism Commissioner Shri Vijaypal Singh.
