Additionally, 357 more cameras are being added to further bolster security in the district.

DGP Gaurav Yadav addressed a joint meeting with officials from Punjab Police, the Indian Army, and the Border Security Force (BSF) at Police Station Narot Jaimal Singh. He praised the Pathankot Police for their coordination in tackling drone intrusions and terror threats, emphasizing the need for Punjab Police, the Army, BSF, and Central Agencies to work as a unified team to dismantle networks of terrorists, gangsters, and drug smugglers operating under Pakistan’s ISI. He highlighted the importance of intelligence sharing and inter-agency collaboration to counter these threats effectively.

To recognize outstanding service, the DGP honored high-performing Punjab Police and BSF personnel with DGP Commendation Discs and appreciation letters.

He also participated in the ‘Bada Khana’ lunch hosted by the Pathankot Police, fostering interaction between officers of all ranks and strengthening team spirit.
