Diljit Dosanjh Walks Out of Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor’s No Entry 2 | Creative Clash?
The sequel to No Entry has hit a roadblock even before going on floors. According to a recent report by Filmfare, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has opted out of No Entry 2, which was set to star him alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles.

Directed by Anees Bazmee and backed by Boney Kapoor, the project has been in development for quite some time, with fans eagerly awaiting an official cast reveal. While the buzz suggested that Varun, Arjun, and Diljit Dosanjh were locked in as the central trio, the latest development suggests otherwise.
Why Did Diljit Dosanjh Quit?
A source cited by Filmfare revealed that Diljit Dosanjh was initially thrilled about the collaboration. However, as creative discussions progressed, he reportedly found himself disagreeing with certain creative ideas being proposed for the film.
“Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project,” the source shared.
This move has left fans surprised, especially since Diljit Dosanjh and Varun are still set to share screen space in Border 2, which also stars Sunny Deol.
What’s Next for No Entry 2?
The sequel to the 2005 blockbuster comedy No Entry — which originally featured Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and Bipasha Basu — is reportedly scheduled to begin filming in October 2025. While the official male cast is still under wraps, Tamannaah Bhatia is rumored to join as one of the female leads.
With Diljit’s exit, the makers now face the challenge of finding a suitable replacement to maintain the film’s star power. An official statement from the producers or Diljit Dosanjh himself is awaited.
Until then, speculation continues around who will fill the void left by Dosanjh in this much-talked-about sequel.
