Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur today released the song and video dedicated to the late singer Surinder Shinda titled “Kithe Tur Geyan Yaara” at an event held at Punjab Kala Bhavan, Chandigarh. This song, penned by Harpreet Sekhon, features the voice of Padma Shri recipient Hans Raj Hans.
Addressing the event, Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur highlighted that the late Surinder Shinda played a pivotal role in the promotion and dissemination of the Punjabi language. His songs achieved international fame and resonated deeply with audiences worldwide.
Cabinet Minister emphasized that Surinder Shinda introduced the present generation to the rich cultural heritage and history of Punjab through his music. She commended Harpreet Sekhon for his commendable effort in writing a song dedicated to the late singer.
Babu Singh Maan remarked that although Surinder Shinda is no longer with us physically, his voice will forever resonate in our hearts.
Harpreet Singh Sekhon, the writer of “Kithe Tur Geyan Yaara,” dedicated to Surinder Shinda, shared that he had a very close relationship with the late singer. Even a year after his passing, he feels as if Surinder Shinda is still with us.
This song is being released by Vital Records and the video is directed by Bobby Bajwa.
