British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has once again expressed his admiration for India, but this time, his love for the country goes beyond its music and landscapes. The artist described the film’s music, drama, and grandeur as “hooking,” marking yet another chapter in his growing bond with India.
From Music Video to Cultural Fascination
Ed Sheeran’s connection with India first captured global attention through his hit music video Sapphire, which was filmed across multiple Indian locations. The visual storytelling highlighted the country’s vibrant diversity, and the experience left a lasting impression on him.
Reflecting on that journey, Sheeran explained that the video shoot became much more than a creative project. “What was interesting about doing the whole India tour was that the only reason we were there was to shoot the music video. We thought that we needed to go all over the country and shoot a little bit everywhere,” he said.
