Education Minister Bains congratulates newly promoted teachers and urges them to strive for a stronger and more effective learning environment.
In a major step towards strengthening the education system, the Punjab Government has promoted 415 teachers to the position of Headmaster.
Punjab School Education Minister Bains announced that 398 Master/Mistress teachers and 17 Block Primary Education Officers (BPEOs) have been elevated to Headmaster/Headmistress roles. These newly promoted educators will serve a one-year probation period. The promotions were granted based on the seniority lists issued by the School Education Department on May 29, 2024, and August 5, 2024, for the master cadre.
Congratulating the promoted teachers, Education Minister Bains encouraged them to strive for a more effective and dynamic learning environment. He emphasized that these promotions would bring renewed enthusiasm and motivation to the education sector. He reaffirmed that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to the welfare of government employees.
Recognizing the dedication of these teachers, the minister highlighted that their new leadership roles would enhance responsibility and contribute to better student learning outcomes.
