Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda : The Education Department’s top priority is the holistic development of every student
Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, highlighted that the holistic development of every student is the top priority of the education department. He affirmed the Haryana government’s full commitment to implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The education department has already been instructed to ensure its prompt implementation.
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda made these remarks while attending a program at C.R. Model Public School, Jharsa, Gurugram, to mark the 144th birth anniversary of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram.
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda acknowledged Sir Chhotu Ram’s historic contributions to uplifting oppressed and underprivileged communities, noting that as a revenue minister, he used his position to provide justice to farmers burdened by heavy debts.
He stressed that education should not only focus on obtaining degrees but should also emphasize character development and skill-building to help students secure suitable employment opportunities.Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda urged that children should be taught about great leaders and warriors who can inspire them to contribute to the nation’s progress.
Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda further stated that under Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is enhancing its global standing. He called for collective efforts to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, stressing that this must begin now with dedication and commitment.
During the event, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda announced a grant of Rs. 21 lakh for the Sir Chhotu Ram Society to support educational development and also laid the foundation stone for the school’s new E-Block.
Several dignitaries, including MLA Sh. Mukesh Sharma and Sh. Tejpal Tanwar, were also present at the event.
