A Zomato delivery rider in Hyderabad had a narrow escape after falling into an open drain during heavy rains on the night of August 9. The incident, which occurred near TKR Kaman at around 9:30 PM, has since gone viral on social media, drawing attention to the challenges faced by delivery workers during extreme weather conditions.

The rider, identified as Syed Farhan, was in the middle of an active delivery order when he lost control and fell into the drain. According to eyewitnesses, the rescuers first managed to retrieve the delivery rider’s bike from the drain before helping him climb out safely. Thanks to the quick efforts of the locals, Farhan escaped the dangerous situation without any serious injuries.
