Rs 5 lakh immediate assistance for houses completely damaged in the disaster CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that an immediate assistance of Rs. 5.00 lakh would be provided for the rehabilitation / relocation of those whose houses have been completely damaged or destroyed due to the calamity in village Dharali, Tehsil Bhatwadi, District Uttarkashi. In addition, an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh will also be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the calamity so that they can get financial support in this difficult time. Constitution of Committee for Holistic Recovery and Livelihood Strengthening CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the formation of a three-member committee for rehabilitation, holistic revival, and sustainable livelihood strengthening of the villagers affected by the disaster. The Committee has been constituted under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Revenue, which will submit its preliminary report to the Government within a week. The committee will chalk out a long-term and effective policy for the future of Dharali village to ensure the safety and livelihood of the local community. The Chief Minister also made it clear that the state government stands with every disaster-affected citizen and all possible assistance will be provided.
