Governor Haribhau Bagde celebrates the Foundation Day of 15 states and Union Territories at Raj Bhavan, emphasizing ‘One India, Best India’ and interacting with residents to promote cultural diversity and unity.
Governor Haribhau Bagde: Raj Bhavan witnessed the celebration of the Foundation Day of eight Indian states – Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu – along with five Union Territories – Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry. Additionally, the Foundation Day of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, established on October 31, was also commemorated.
Governor Haribhau Bagde extended his greetings and best wishes to residents of these states living in Rajasthan. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the rich history and cultural heritage of each state, emphasizing that Foundation Day celebrations reflect India’s cultural diversity and traditions. He added that unity in diversity among states represents the essence of ‘One India, Best India.’
During the event, Governor Haribhau Bagde interacted with residents from various states, acknowledging their unique cultural and geographical contributions to India. Citizens expressed gratitude and appreciation for the Governor’s engagement. He also emphasized the significance of linguistic-based state formation and encouraged all residents to contribute to Rajasthan’s development.
The event was attended by Dr. Prithvi, Secretary to the Governor, and Chief Special Officer Mr. Rajkumar Sagar, among other officials.
