- Decorate your Godi with yellow silk ornaments, red flowers and mango tree branches.
- The sacred symbol “Swastik” consists of vermilion and Kumkum on the hollow.
- Lighting candles during festivals adds more elegance and splendor to your celebrations.
- The day after Gudi Padwa, drink water in a copper vessel and place a bamboo stick on the Gudi.
- On this day, it is considered auspicious to give water to those in need.
