Fulfilling Long-Pending Demands of Commission Agents
During his address, Hardip Singh Mundian took a sharp dig at previous administrations, noting that for decades, the genuine demands of commission agents (Arhtiyas) and laborers remained ignored. He stated that the Mann government has firmly resolved these long-standing issues by prioritizing the welfare of those who form the backbone of Punjab’s agrarian economy.
₹2 Crore Infrastructure Upgrade at Sahnewal Market
To provide immediate relief and modern facilities, Hardip Singh Mundian announced the completion of two massive sheds in the Sahnewal Grain Market. Built at a cost of ₹2 crore, these sheds are designed to protect the farmers’ produce and the laborers’ hard work from the vagaries of bad weather. “The era of crops rotting in the open due to rain or heat is over in Sahnewal. Our government believes in delivering results, not just promises,” the Minister emphasized.
