Harjot Bains launches Mission Samarth 4.0, improving government schools and student success, driving the Punjab education revolution forward.
Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains today inaugurated Mission Samarth 4.0, marking a significant step in the Punjab education revolution. Addressing the press conference, Minister Bains highlighted that the Aam Aadmi Party is the first political party to prioritize government schools in its agenda and ensure continuous funding for their development.
“The major upgrades in government school infrastructure reflect the sincere efforts of the Mann Government and are a proud gift of the Punjab education revolution to students,” said Harjot Bains.
Key initiatives under Mission Samarth 4.0 to accelerate the Punjab education revolution include:
- Appointment of campus managers in all senior secondary schools
- Bus facilities in more than 150 government schools across the state
- Deployment of security guards in schools with over 500 students
- Achievements made possible through public feedback and collaboration
- Success in NEET and JEE exams, reflecting the progress of the Punjab education revolution

Minister Bains emphasized the focus on small-group learning to provide better foundational education to students. “Our aim is to enhance learning outcomes at the grassroots level and ensure that every student benefits from the Punjab education revolution,” he said.
According to recent data, students in Punjab’s Class 3 are performing 18% above the national average, while Class 6 students show an improvement of 26–28%. The mission’s ultimate target is to achieve nearly 100% academic excellence across government schools, further strengthening the Punjab education revolution.
With innovative policies, improved school infrastructure, and emphasis on holistic student success, Punjab education revolution is set to redefine quality education and empower students across the state.
