HARJOT SINGH BAINS : A one-day training and interaction program with experts from Finland University was organized for primary school teachers.

HARJOT SINGH BAINS : In a significant move towards enhancing the state’s school education system to global standards, the Punjab School Education Department organized a one-day training and interaction program with experts from the University of Turku, Finland, on Tuesday. The session, held at MGSIPA, saw the participation of 296 government primary school teachers, as reported by S. Harjot Singh Bains, Minister of School and Higher Education, Punjab.

After the successful visit of the first batch of 72 teachers who participated in a three-week training program in Finland, S. Harjot Singh Bains announced that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, has organized a one-day orientation program for 273 primary teachers and 23 DEOs (Elementary) today.

The goal of this program is to provide teachers with effective primary school teaching techniques, and the initiative will help trainers gain a deeper understanding of the current challenges within the state’s primary education system, the School Education Minister further explained.

The Secretary of School Education, Mr. Kamal Kishor Yadav, warmly welcomed the group of experts, including Mr. Ari Kioski, Ms. Mirjami Einola, and Ms. Sari Isokytö-Sinjoi. He also expressed his gratitude to the trainers for their contribution to the success of the training program. He highlighted that the program would help primary school teachers implement techniques that make learning enjoyable and stress-free, ultimately supporting the overall development of students.

Special Secretary of School Education, Mr. Churchil Kumar, Director of SCERT, Ms. Amaninder Kaur Brar, and other senior officials from the School Education Department were also present at the event.
