Haryana Agriculture Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal on Friday planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in Chhachhrauli of Yamunanagar district. On this occasion, Minister stated that a person’s first teacher in life is their mother. Participating in the campaign to plant a sapling in honor of one’s mother is truly a blessing, he added. It is noteworthy that on the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi appealed to the citizens to plant a tree in the name of their mother, and now it has been adopted as a campaign across the country.
Haryana Agriculture Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal mentioned that the Prime Minister’s heartfelt appeal touched the hearts of the citizens, motivating them to plant more and more trees. He urged all the residents of the state to join this campaign.
He noted that within a month, millions of saplings have already been planted across the country. Every Indian is eager to ensure their participation in this campaign with great enthusiasm. There is no doubt that the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign will significantly contribute to increasing oxygen levels, reducing the earth’s temperature, raising the groundwater level, and controlling pollution.
