Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the budget presented by the central government will empower the poor and farmers, and provide employment opportunities for the youth. The budget will help provide a roof over the poor’s heads. The budget provisions will accelerate the country’s development and fulfill Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India by 2047, he said.

The Haryana Chief Minister was interacting with the media after participating as the Chief Guest in the passing out parade at PTC Sunaria.

He said that over the last nine and a half years, the present state government has made extensive use of information technology to reform government functioning, enabling the poor to benefit from government schemes more transparently and fairly.

He said the present state government is providing government jobs based on merit only, abolishing the old ‘Parchi Karchi’ system. The state government will not let the efforts of the ‘Bharti Roko gang succeed, and will provide employment to the youth based on merit, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

The Haryana Chief Minister said that the  Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau has been established to curb drug abuse in the state. He said that with the induction of 1,265 trained personnel into the police force, the strength of the police will increase, and Haryana Police will ensure the service and security of the people with renewed vigor.

The Haryana Chief Minister said that the police must serve and protect the public and to instill fear of the law among criminals. The police are taking strict action against criminals and drug traffickers and ensuring they are punished. The government is working promptly to equip the police with modern technology, shared Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.

He said that 1,265 personnel from 18 companies participated in the passing-out parade. Out of these, personnel from ten companies received training at PTC Sunaria, while personnel from eight companies received training at Madhuban Police Academy.
