  • Ensure timely drainage of Waterlogging caused due to rain, Chief Secretary

Chandigarh, August 1 –

Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. TVSN Prasad has directed the Deputy Commissioners to ensure immediate resolution of any issues faced by the public due waterlogging caused by rainfall. He said that if waterlogging occurs anywhere in the state, prompt measures must be taken to address the situation.

Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Prasad gave these directions while chairing a review meeting held via video conferencing with all Deputy Commissioners to assess the steps taken by the state government during the monsoon season. He directed that Deputy Commissioners  to personally inspect the sites affected by waterlogging and assign duties to concerned officers to ensure timely implementation of relief measures. He stressed that any laxity in this regard will not be tolerated.
