In a significant move to strengthen the social safety net in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini today disbursed massive financial aid to lakhs of beneficiaries across various welfare programs. The highlight of the day was the release of the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana 6th installment, which saw over ₹203 crore being transferred directly into the bank accounts of women across Haryana.
Empowering Women through Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana
The Haryana government remains steadfast in its commitment to women’s empowerment. During the event, CM Nayab Singh Saini officially released the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana 6th installment, amounting to ₹203.28 crore. This financial assistance reached approximately 10 lakh beneficiary sisters through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism, ensuring transparency and eliminating middlemen.
The Chief Minister highlighted the cumulative success of the initiative, stating:
“With the release of the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana 6th installment today, our government has so far distributed a total of ₹1038.05 crore across six installments. This scheme is a testament to our vision of making every ‘Lado’ in Haryana financially independent.”
Massive Boost to Social Security Pensions
In addition to the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, the Chief Minister also focused on the elderly and vulnerable sections of society. A total of ₹1144.55 crore was released under 15 different social security pension schemes.
