Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram, where a majority of public complaints were addressed on the spot. Of the 16 cases listed on the agenda, 12 were resolved during the meeting itself, while the remaining four were deferred to the next session with clear instructions to concerned officials for early disposal.
Taking serious note of allegations related to negligence in urea distribution at the Jatauli Mandi, the chief minister directed the immediate transfer of the concerned PACS manager. He also instructed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Pataudi to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter and submit a report to the deputy commissioner’s office at the earliest.

He issued strict directions to officials of the Municipal Corporation to ensure that there are no sewer blockages anywhere in the city and that residents do not face inconvenience due to poor maintenance.
The chief minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasised that grievance redressal meetings are an important platform to directly address citizens’ concerns and hold officials accountable. He said timely resolution of public issues strengthens trust in governance and improves service delivery.
The meeting was attended by Haryana’s Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, legislators Bimla Chaudhary, Tejpal Tanwar and Mukesh Sharma, along with senior district and departmental officers.
The district-level grievance redressal mechanism, officials said, will continue to be closely monitored, with pending cases reviewed in subsequent meetings to ensure swift and effective resolution.
