Haryana Government approves amendments to New Integrated Licensing Policy (NILP)-2022

Haryana Government: Haryana Cabinet met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, has approved the amendments to clauses 2.1 and 2.2 of the New Integrated Licensing Policy (NILP)-2022 by allowing Purchasable Development Rights (PDR) under residential plotted component in parity with normal residential plotted licenced colonies.

The amendments, aimed at bringing parity between NILP colonies and normal residential plotted colonies, will now allow for the allocation of additional Floor Area Ratio (FAR) through Purchasable Development Rights (PDR). Under the new provisions, the additional 0.25 FAR, as previously granted, will be supplemented by further purchasable FAR on residential plots, as per the Haryana Building Code-2017.

As per the amendment, the colonizer will have the liberty to allocate the residential component for uses like group housing, plots, row housing etc within the parameters of FAR. The amendments ensure that developers in NILP colonies can now avail the same benefits as those in other residential plotted colonies, promoting balanced urban development.
