On Thursday evening, while chairing a review meeting of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (PMDA), the Chief Minister called for an integrated and fast-paced approach to upgrade civic infrastructure, improve sanitation standards, and enhance the overall urban environment for residents. Saini emphasized the need to maintain all city roads in excellent condition and directed officials to immediately repair any damaged or deteriorated roads.
According to an official statement, the Haryana Chief Minister said that Panchkula should have a high-quality, safe, and smooth road network. He also instructed the concerned departments to ensure timely repair and maintenance of sidewalks and to focus on overall road quality improvement to enhance the city’s aesthetics. Saini further issued orders to resolve the issue of stray animals in the city without delay.

During the meeting, PMDA Chief Executive Officer K.M. Pandurang informed that administrative approval of ₹173.48 crore has been granted for setting up a modern shooting range sports complex in Sector 32, Panchkula, and that the remaining formal procedures will be completed soon.
Focus on Road Construction and Repairs
Saini reiterated that maintaining all roads of the city in top condition is essential. He instructed officials to immediately repair broken or severely damaged roads in areas where the need is greater. The Haryana Chief Minister stated that Panchkula must develop a high-quality, secure, and efficient road network.
Beautification Drive
According to the official statement, Saini emphasized timely repairs and maintenance of footpaths and improvements in the overall quality of roads.
He also directed authorities to address the problem of stray animals without any delay.

During the meeting, PMDA CEO K.M. Pandurang informed that administrative approval for a ₹173.48-crore modern shooting range sports complex in Sector 32 has been granted, and the remaining formalities will soon be completed.
