Agriculture Minister inaugurates development works worth Rs 52 lakh in Jagadhri

Haryana Agriculture Minister Sh. Kanwar Pal on Sunday said roads played an important role in the development of a country and the state government had got done the work of strengthening new and old roads on priority during its tenure. The Minister was addressing people during the inauguration of development works worth Rs 52 lakh in Jagadhri.
The Haryana Agriculture Minister inaugurated the road strengthening work from Tejli village main road via Navprabhat School under Municipal Corporation Ward No. 6 of Basant Nagar in Jagadhri at a cost of Rs 28 lakh. He also took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a street and laying of underground pipes from Gupta Petrol Pump to a tubewell of Public Health Department in Veer Nagar at a cost of Rs 24 lakh.
He directed the officials concerned to complete the work as soon as possible so that local people could be benefited. The Minister said several development works worth crores of rupees had been carried out in the Jagadhri Assembly constituency and some remaining works were underway at a fast pace. Under the BJP rule, the Jagadhri Assembly, along with the entire state, was continuously moving ahead on the path of development. He said along with development of urban areas, every village of Jagadhri had been connected with roads.
