Haryana’s Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha, stated that under the ‘Haryana Shehri Nikay Svamitva Yojana’, the Chief Minister has permitted tenants/lessees who have completed 20 years to submit their claims. Those who have not yet submitted their claims and applications will have the opportunity to do so as the portal will be opened for new applications for a final period of 15 days.
The Minister stated that requests were received from various sectors, public representatives, and different shopkeepers to extend the deadline for submitting applications. Therefore, the state government has decided to extend the deadline for tenants/lessees to submit their claims to obtain ownership rights.
