Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini chaired a meeting of the Standing Finance Committee, where important decisions were taken regarding incentive schemes linked to the state’s upcoming industrial and business policies.
The meeting focused on measures related to the Haryana Agri-Business and Food Processing Policy-2026, Haryana Progressive MSME and Export Promotion Policy-2026, and Make in Haryana Industrial Policy-2026.
Focus on Investment and Employment
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that new investment also translates into greater employment opportunities for the youth. He stressed the need to create an environment where industrial growth can generate sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The government also emphasised strengthening the ecosystem for businesses and encouraging investment across different sectors of the state.

Better Market Access for Farmers
The CM Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the importance of providing farmers with improved access to markets. According to the government’s approach, promoting agri-business and food processing can help create better opportunities for agricultural produce and strengthen the connection between farmers and the processing industry.
The proposed policy measures are intended to support investment in food processing and related activities.
Boost for MSMEs and Exports
The meeting also reviewed incentive-related measures under the Haryana Progressive MSME and Export Promotion Policy-2026. The government said special attention should be given to creating a competitive business environment for micro, small and medium enterprises.
Strengthening the MSME sector is also expected to support entrepreneurship, investment and export-oriented activities in the state.
Make in Haryana Industrial Policy-2026
The Make in Haryana Industrial Policy-2026 was another key focus of the meeting. The Chief Minister called for policies that can encourage industrial investment while improving the overall competitiveness of businesses operating in Haryana.
The government’s stated objective is to combine investment promotion with employment generation, better market opportunities for farmers and a stronger industrial ecosystem.
