Haryana reviews International Yoga Day 2026 preparations. Dr. Sumita Misra directs departments for coordination and public participation campaign.
A high-level review meeting was held to assess the state-level preparations for International Yoga Day 2026. Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management and Health & Family Welfare Department, Dr. Sumita Misra, chaired the meeting and directed all departments to ensure coordinated efforts for the successful organisation of the event.
During the review, it was emphasized that International Yoga Day 2026 should be conducted as a large-scale public participation campaign. Officials were instructed to work in close coordination so that the preparations for International Yoga Day 2026 are completed smoothly and effectively across all districts.
Dr. Sumita Misra stated that International Yoga Day 2026 is not just an annual event but a significant opportunity to strengthen awareness about health, fitness, and holistic well-being among citizens.
