The deadline for submitting claims for ownership of tenants/leaseholders/tehbazaari of ULBs extended till August 31
The tenants/leaseholders/tehbajari who are completing 20 years by October 31 will also get the benefit of this extension now
Chandigarh, August 1-
Haryana Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha said that the state government has extended the deadline for submitting claims for ownership of property for tenants/leaseholders/tehbajari of Urban Local Bodies till August 31, 2024. He further shared that till now 5962 applications have been approved under the Mukhyamantri Shehri SVAMITVA Yojana and registration of 5026 has also been done.
Sh. Subhash Sudha said that earlier under this scheme, only those whose rent/lease/tehbajari had completed 20 years or more on December 31, 2020 could apply. On the request of the public, the Chief Minister has decided to extend this time limit to October 31, 2024. This means that now those tenants/leaseholders who are completing 20 years or more upto October 31, 2024, will also be able to apply on the portal to avail the benefits of this extension.
