Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development and Transport, Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola has directed officers to repair the roads, and street lights of Ambala city at the earliest. He said that there will be no shortage of funds from the state government. He directed the officers concerned to expedite the ongoing development works and warned that any official found deliberately neglecting their duties will face strict action.
Haryana Minister Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola was presiding over a meeting of the Urban Local Bodies Department officers in Chandigarh today. The meeting was attended by Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh.Vikas Gupta, Director Sh. Yashpal, and other senior officers of the department.
The Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development and Transport directed the officers to repair all the roads in Ambala city, as well as improve the cleanliness and street light systems to ensure that local residents do not face any inconvenience. He said that the monsoon season has started and if the cleanliness of Ambala city is not maintained properly, it could lead to sewage blockages and the spread of diseases due to the filth.
The Minister emphasized that he will undertake every possible measure to provide facilities to the residents of Ambala city. He also directed officials to repair old and malfunctioning street lights and install new ones where necessary.
Haryana Minister Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola directed the repair of broken roads and lanes in the city as soon as possible and to construct new ones wherever needed. He also discussed the installation of statues of great personalities like Maharaja Agrasen and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Ambala city and directed the officers concerned to take swift action in this regard.
