HARYANA NEWS: Enthusiastic involvement of Bihar voters results in collection of approximately 57.48% enumeration forms within first 15 days.

HARYANA NEWS : Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of Bihar’s voters in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and the relentless efforts of election officials, volunteers, and the 1.56 lakh Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by all recognized political parties, 57.48% of enumeration forms have been collected within the first 15 days of the campaign—with 16 days still remaining in the exercise.

As of 6:00 PM yesterday, a total of 4,53,89,881 Enumeration Forms were collected—representing 57.48% of Bihar’s 7.90 crore eligible electors—since the SIR instructions were issued on June 24, 2025. Remarkably, 83,12,804 forms were collected in just the last 24 hours alone, amounting to 10.52% in a single day.

With around 42.5% of the forms still to be collected, officials are optimistic that the drive can be completed well before the July 25, 2025 deadline if the current pace continues.

As per paragraph 3(d) of the SIR guidelines, existing electors, including those who are temporarily away from their home locations (as defined under Section 20(1A) of the Representation of the People Act, 1950), can download their pre-filled Enumeration Form from https://voters.eci.gov.in. Migrated electors may print, sign, and submit the form to their Booth Level Officer (BLO) either through family members or by online means—such as WhatsApp or other digital platforms—before the July 25 deadline, ensuring their names appear in the draft Electoral Rolls.

In the last 15 days, nearly all of the 7.90 crore enumeration forms printed have been distributed, with 98% (7.71 crore) already reaching voters.
