Haryana NEWS : Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister and President of the Haryana Amateur Kabaddi Association, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, congratulated the state’s players for their exceptional performance at the 34th Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship held at G.D. Goenka Public School in Bodhgaya, Bihar. Haryana’s boys’ Kabaddi team claimed the gold medal, while the girls’ team secured the silver medal.
Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar commended the impressive performance of the Under-17 boys’ team, which won the gold by defeating the SAI team 54-41 in the final. He also praised the Under-17 girls’ team for their strong performance against Rajasthan, narrowly missing out on the gold by a close score of 39-37.
He expressed that this historic victory has further elevated Haryana’s position in Kabaddi and reflects the hard work and dedication of the players. He also congratulated Kabaddi Association Chairman Kuldeep Dalal, Secretary Naseeb Janghu, the coaches, and all the officials for their contributions.
Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, new policies have been introduced to promote sports nationally and internationally, benefiting athletes across India and enhancing the country’s global reputation. As a result, Haryana’s athletes are gaining recognition both domestically and internationally.
He further mentioned that under Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar’s leadership, the Haryana Government provides the highest prize money to Olympic and Paralympic medalists, offering significant encouragement to athletes. To nurture young sporting talent, more than 1,000 sports nurseries have been established across the state, making Haryana a leading sports hub in the country.
In highlighting the players’ achievements, he emphasized that Haryana’s Kabaddi players have shown that success comes with hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Their success serves as an inspiration to young athletes to stay committed to their goals despite challenges. This victory is a proud moment for all the players and reinforces Haryana’s dominance in Kabaddi, both nationally and internationally, ensuring that the state will continue to play a key role in the sport’s future.
