Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth around Rs. 2.78 crore in Kishanpura village of Yamunanagar district.
On this occasion, he inaugurated a 1.5-kilometer-long road built from Paonta Sahib Road to Kishanpura village at a cost of Rs. 95.26 lakh and an Anganwadi building constructed at a cost of Rs. 8 lakh. Following this, he performed the bhoomi poojan for community hall to be built at a cost of Rs. 1.40 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for a paved road from Kishanpura to Kadkoli village to be built at a cost of Rs. 34.88 lakh.
Addressing the people present, the Agriculture Minister said that the current government has carried out ten times more development works than the previous government did ten years ago. He mentioned that government jobs are being given to the youth based on merit without any bribes or recommendations.
