The actor, who has seen immense success over the last two decades and recently enjoyed a resurgence on OTT platforms, admitted that he had reached a restless phase in his career. “I even thought maybe my time in this profession was up,” he revealed. It was a visit to Neem Karoli Baba’s Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand, alongside director Ram Reddy, that proved to be a turning point. Bajpayee described the experience: “We climbed for almost an hour, meditated in Babaji’s cave, and something magical happened. As we came down, we looked at each other and said, ‘We found the film.’”
