On Wednesday, Hrithik took to Instagram Stories to share his thoughts after watching Dhurandhar. Reposting the film’s poster, he highlighted how much he was moved by the narrative, writing, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control… Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.”

Disagreement on Political Message

While Hrithik appreciated the film’s cinematic quality, he also acknowledged his disagreement with the political stance the film takes. In his follow-up message, he said, “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can’t ignore how much I loved and learned from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing.”
