Rising Rajasthan: Principal Secretary to the Urban Development and Housing Department organized a review meeting to discuss the necessary preparations for the budget session.
Shri Vaibhav Galriya, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department took a detailed review of the work related to the MoU signed under the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit through video conferencing on Thursday. He said that as per the directions of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the MoU signed during Rising Rajasthan should be implemented expeditiously. For this, all the authorities and trusts have been directed to establish contact with the investors in coordination with the district collectors of their districts and implement the process of land identification, land allotment etc. in a time-bound manner. Shri Galriya also directed regular use of online investor interface portal and said that meeting requests made by investors should be responded immediately so that meetings can be held with more and more investors. Apart from this, milestone monitoring and related information should also be made available in a time-bound manner so that the progress of the work can be reviewed.
Rising Rajasthan,The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the budget. Shri Galriya said that all the departmental budget announcements should be completed in a time bound manner and the problems being faced by the officers were discussed and appropriate solutions were given. Apart from this, assembly questions, lights episodes, matters related to sampark portal and vacant plots were reviewed. Shri Galriya specifically talked about listing the saleable lands and keeping a vigil to avoid any kind of encroachment on these lands. Instructions were also given to identify encroachments and remove them immediately.
In the meeting held at Rising Rajasthan, Awaas Bhawan, the pending questions of the 16th Assembly, attention, assurances, prosecution sanction, CMIS and Brap report were reviewed. Describing the Brap report as very important for investment, Shri Galriya gave instructions to improve it. He also took a detailed review of the income of the authorities / trusts.
Rising Rajasthan,Further, Shri Galriya ordered that the building plans should ensure full compliance of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and only those building plans should be approved which conform to the parameters of this Act. The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ravinder Kumar, Director Rural Sanitation, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Chief Planning Officer, Ashok Khajuria, Assistant Commissioner Development, Angrez Singh, PO IWMP, Sushil Kesar, District Panchayat Officer, Rachna Sharma, besides BDOs, JEEs, Panchayat Inspectors, Gram Sewaks, GRS were present on the occasion.
