Deputy CM Diya Kumari Ajmer District Level Investors Summit was held on Friday. Deputy Chief Minister and district in-charge Minister Diya Kumari interacted with the entrepreneurs. MoUs worth Rs 14,26 crore were signed during the event.

Mrs. Diya Kumari said that the district level investors meet Ajmer under the state level Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024 was a successful event. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Government is emphasizing on setting up of enterprises in the first year itself. A large number of MoUs are being signed. This will boost employment in the state. The MoUs signed at present will be visible on the ground in no time. Its comprehensive results will be in front of everyone in the next four years.

He said that the government has thought about the future of Rajasthan. People here will get good employment opportunities. MoUs entered into by the government at present will get off the ground. All the officials should work in coordination. All work including land, policy decisions, various clearances should be done immediately.

“We all have to develop Ajmer, Rajasthan and India together. With the combined efforts of all, every investor will think of investing only in Rajasthan. In future, Ajmer will be identified as the most suitable district for setting up enterprises. The government is committed to provide all kinds of facilities to the entrepreneurs. For this, Rajasthan Udyam Protsahan Yojana-2024 has been announced.

“Rajasthan is a state with immense potential. It has abundant natural resources, including wind and solar energy. Tourism in Rajasthan is also multifaceted. Entrepreneurs can do the work of materializing these possibilities on the ground. There is no dearth of resources in Rajasthan. With the availability of water from the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) and the Yamuna River, water in Rajasthan will also be sufficient.

Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat said that Ajmer has more potential for industrial development than other districts. The government is trying to make these possibilities a reality. In this regard, district level meetings are being held. This will be followed by a state-level investors meet. With this, enterprises will be set up by investors. The youth of the region will get employment opportunities. Efforts are being made to attract maximum investment in Ajmer district.

Shri Onkar Singh Lakhawat, Chairman, Rajasthan Heritage Conservation and Promotion Authority said that entrepreneurship is the backbone of Ajmer. Due to them, Ajmer is economically strong. There is energy along with workmanship in Ajmer. It has immense potential for economic, religious, educational and cultural development. The central and state governments are working together for the development of the state.

Former Minister and Ajmer South MLA Anita Bhadel said that the intention of the government is to promote Rajasthan and entrepreneurs. That is why the government has encouraged investment in the first year itself. RIPS-2024 has been announced by Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma to address the problems of entrepreneurs. Setting up a business will increase employment. This will improve the standard of living of the people. Shri Kunal Jain, Chairman, Laghu Udyog Bharti said that the rare quality of entrepreneurship has been recognized from Rising Rajasthan.

District Collector Lok Bandhu said that 301 MoUs worth about Rs 14,26 crore have been signed by various departments in various sectors like marble and granite, textile, medical, education, hotel and resort, mining, solar, agro and food processing sectors in collaboration and coordination with various industrial associations, large and medium units for the successful organization of this district level investors meet. It will provide direct and indirect employment to about 15,360 persons. District Industries and Commerce Centre has signed 210 MoUs worth Rs 3,739 crore, RIICO 8 MoUs worth Rs 48 crore, Ajmer Development Authority 56 MoUs worth Rs 10,144 crore, Tourism Department 5 MoUs worth Rs 47 crore, Mines and Geology 16 MoUs worth Rs 14 crore and Agriculture Marketing Board 6 MoUs worth Rs 31 crore.

An exhibition of products and services such as marble and granite handicrafts, food products, handloom, embroidery and handicrafts, machinery tools, etc. was also organised at the district level meet. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari was also present on the occasion. A short film on the industrial scenario and prospects of investment in the district was also screened at the event.

The MoUs were signed with Shree Bhagwati Machines, Dhritidhan Stonex, Keshav Industries, Vemora Tiles, SR Resorts, Shriram Super Speciality Surgical, Bhuvan Resorts, Hotel Hills View, Bhandari Marble World, Arams Textiles, Vardhman Hotels, Master Resorts, Emvite International, Millman Metals and Atul Resorts.

On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Raj Kamal Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, SSP Jalandhar Rural Satinder Singh, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Karunesh Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioners Vishesh Sarangal and Jasbir Singh, Deputy Commissioners of Police Arun Saini, Sub Divisional Magistrate Rahul Sindhu and Dr Jai Inder Singh, Joint MC Commissioner Innayat, Shayri Malhotra, Assistant Commissioner Harpreet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Lt. Col.
